It took me real long to come back here for writing a review. I really feel myself guilty about my this blog, as don’t get enough time to write for it. Anyway, here I am again to write for a movie, which I found compelling enough to be called as best of the best sci-fi movie.
Dark City, a tell of a man, who woke up a night in a hotel bath tub with a female corpse in room and suddenly finds his life as a forgotten dream, about which he doesn’t know anything about. He tries to remember, who he is. Cops are behind him. He find himself being a cheating husband and a serial killer. But of course, he isn’t confirmed about anything. What’s true and what’s not… the quest led him to know about a kept secret truth “No one in this city has seen the day light”, but why? how come this possible?

The movie might be overshadowed by the well heard about movie “The Matrix” and its special effects, but still I regard this movie as a masterpiece and it plays in your mind more than it plays itself on the screen. Its been an original concept that retains its freshness and unique appearance by keeping itself limited to one movie only (no sequels).
A dying Alien Race, which has ability to “tune” the world (at least the city they are controlling) as per their liking and adjust the memories of the people, involved in social experiments over selected humans kept in a city to reach up to the soul of them to know the secret of life. Did you grasp the concept?
Yes!!! its like that either you completely take it or leave it completely, but sure a masterpiece for people like me and others sci-fi lovers out there.
Have you ever thought that you know your world? Have you ever thought that how much of it is true? What is your knowledge and how much of that you tested yourself? Tests?? On what scale? How you define one? You try to assemble pieces to know the whole story, but still feels frustrated to know that still you don’t know anything. Come to watch Dark City and try to find pieces of your own life.
